One of the questions I'd be curious to hear your answer to is how you see fannish fundraisers and charities within your hybrid business model - whether they are a prototype or should be seen and thought more as crowdfunding? (The same goes for fannishly organized cons, though I have virtually no idea which are 'offical' ones and which ones are 'semi-offical' - meaning acknowledged but not endorsed - and which ones are private …)
